The East River Amateur Radio Club will host the W8ZBR (ARRL
affiliated and accredited) VE team at club headquarters, 704 Bland Street, Room
523, Bluefield, WV 24701. Amateur Radio Exams are scheduled quarterly
(Feb, May, Aug, and Nov). Exams are held on the second Saturday of the
given month at 9:00
We will offer Technician Class testing and upgrades to
General and Extra for current license holders.
You must

This is a very simple process!

Picture ID; if you are a
minor, please get in touch with Berlon- 304.910.6333 for those ID requirements

This exam is computer-based;
we will provide the device needed. Paper testing will be used as a
back-up

You should be able to check
your email from the test site.

The PIN given to you when
(If) you pre-registered. If you do not pre-register, come at least 30 minutes
early. Make sure Berlon knows beforehand that you will need to register on the
morning of the test.

If you are here to upgrade
your license; you must have a
copy of your current
license, if the FCC has not issued you a callsign; your
CSCE from your
last testing session.

Please bring precisely
15.00 cash or a check made out to the East River Amateur Radio Club V.E.
Team. Unfortunately, we can not process a credit card payment.
You may pre-register for this
testing session at hamstudy.org (you do not have to have an
account with Hamstudy to register). First, go to "Find a session" = ERARC
Testing Session. Then, register, write down the PIN, and print the email sent to
you. (Bring the email to the test session)
